Are Service Animals Allowed on Swamp Tours?

A service dog assists its handler through an airport terminal. While service animals are protected under ADA guidelines for most public spaces, swamp tours present unique safety considerations that legally allow for restrictions due to wildlife interactions. Just as zoos can limit service animals in areas with natural predators, swamp tour operators must prioritize the safety of all guests and animals by restricting service dogs where alligators are present.

For the safety of all guests and wildlife, we cannot accommodate service animals on our swamp boats or at our swamp tour facilities. This policy exists because alligators may view small animals as prey, creating potential safety risks both on boats and near the water.
