We coordinate the timing, and you get 3+ hours of free time to grab dinner between tours. Drive yourself to the swamp dock and park for free, or add our optional round-trip shuttle from your hotel. Either way, the ghost tour meets in the French Quarter, so that half is on foot. This is how locals would show you their city if they had a full day to share.
Your afternoon starts aboard a thrilling airboat through cypress swamps where gators bask just feet away. When your captain cuts the engine in a quiet cove, you'll hear nothing but birds calling and water lapping against the hull. This is the real Louisiana most visitors never see. As darkness falls, meet your ghost guide in the French Quarter and walk the moonlit streets to the infamous LaLaurie Mansion and the real locations that inspired Hollywood's most famous vampire stories.

Transportation details+
We pick up from most hotels in these areas. Your exact pickup point will be confirmed by email - it may be your hotel entrance or a nearby landmark within a short walk.
Rideshare/Uber to the swamp is not recommended — We strongly discourage using Uber, Lyft, or taxis. The launch areas are rural and not well-serviced by rideshare. While it's easy to get a ride from New Orleans to the bayou, finding a return ride can be difficult—guests have been stranded in the past.
After you book:
- •Pre-Confirmation Email — You'll receive an order request confirmation right away
- •Full Confirmation — Within 24 hours, we'll send your complete confirmation with all tour details
- •Pickup Details — Your confirmation includes your pickup time and location (if you added shuttle)
- •Day Of Tour (Shuttle) — Be ready outside your pickup location at the START of your pickup window. Stay put until the shuttle arrives - you might be first or last on the route.
- •Day Of Tour (Driving) — Arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes early for check-in. Give yourself extra time for traffic - boats leave on time.

Driving Yourself
Our swamp launches are about 25-40 minutes south of the French Quarter. If you choose to drive, free parking is available at the dock. You'll receive the exact address in your confirmation email after booking.
Booking Separately?
We use 4 different docks depending on tour type and availability. Guests who book separately are not guaranteed to be on the same boat or even the same dock. If you're hoping to be with friends or family booking separately, please contact us immediately after booking so we can try to coordinate.

- •The shuttle covers the swamp half only.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we choose different times for the tours?+
This combo package includes fixed timing for maximum convenience. If you need different times, we recommend booking each tour individually for full flexibility.
Are the tour groups the same for both experiences?+
No, these are separate tours with different groups. The combo pricing simply packages our two most popular experiences together at a discounted rate.
What should we do between tours?+
You'll have 3+ hours to explore the French Quarter, grab dinner, or rest at your hotel. We're happy to provide restaurant recommendations!
Should we tip our tour guides?+
Absolutely! Tipping 15-20% of your tour cost is standard and greatly appreciated — similar to what you'd tip at a restaurant. Our guides are passionate locals who rely on tips as a significant part of their income. A great guide can make your experience unforgettable. If they do, let them know!
What happens if it rains?+
Tours run rain or shine. If you show up in the rain, your guide will be there. We only cancel if conditions become dangerous, and in that case you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Tours are non-refundable unless cancelled by the company or tour operators (typically due to dangerous weather like lightning or hurricanes). If you need to reschedule, contact us and we'll work with you to apply your payment to a different date or tour, subject to availability. We understand plans change — just give us as much notice as possible.
Can I reschedule my tour to a different date?+
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for any changes. If you need to reschedule, get in touch with us as soon as you know and we'll do our best to work something out. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have.
Is this tour wheelchair or scooter accessible?+
It depends on the tour. Our walking tours around the French Quarter generally work fine for wheelchairs and scooters since they're on city streets and sidewalks. Our covered pontoon swamp boat is also wheelchair accessible. For bus and shuttle tours, the buses don't have lifts or room to store a scooter, but a collapsible wheelchair can usually be accommodated if you can manage the steps to board. Airboats are not wheelchair accessible. If you have mobility concerns, contact us and we'll help find the best fit.

Important Information
Riders must be at least 5 years old to join the airboat. Pregnant guests and those with neck or back injuries cannot ride the airboat. Ghost tour content is PG-13 with stories involving violence, murder, and dark history. Parental discretion advised for younger children. Children must be accompanied by an adult for both tours.
