A walking tour through the supernatural French Quarter. Visit haunted mansions, hear vampire legends, and discover locations featured on American Horror Story and Ghost Adventures.
“The Ghosts and Vampires tour was one of my most memorable parts of my trip to NOLA. Katherine is the BEST tour guide I have ever had (and I am a researcher so I've been on my share of tours). Katherine's love for the city is infectious and you leave the tour spooked and appreciative for those who made NOLA what it is. *This is not a gimmicky tour* it is based off historical facts! History is always scarier than fiction.”
“Our tour guide, Lenny, was humorous and knowledgeable! Loved our experience. Would book again!”
“Lenny was very knowledgeable and helpful when booking the tour! Would definitely book again.”
This is the signature French Quarter ghost and vampire tour. For two hours, you'll walk through the Quarter with a licensed guide who brings these streets to life. Content is rated PG-13: stories include violence, torture, murder, and suicide. Engaging for teens and adults, but parental discretion is advised for younger children.
You'll visit at least 6 haunted locations including the infamous LaLaurie Mansion, where your guide will share the true story of what rescuers found that night in 1834. You'll see historic buildings from street level and learn why New Orleans has more vampire legends than any other American city. There's a bar break midway through, usually at a haunted location, if you want to grab a drink.
Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning local, this tour reveals the dark history hiding in plain sight. Want the uncensored version with explicit details? Check out the Adults Only Ghost Tour.

No. The LaLaurie Mansion is a privately owned home. Our tours stop outside and your guide tells the story from the street.
Our walking tours are about an hour and 45 minutes long. You generally cover about a mile of ground. It's an easy walk and you stop a lot to hear stories.
There are paid parking lots on Basin St. and on the corner of Conti and N. Rampart St. Prices vary depending on what's happening in the city that day. If you're staying at a French Quarter hotel, we recommend walking to the tour site.
We have a few different starting locations. After you've booked your tour, we send a confirmation email with all the details, including where your tour starts.
Sure! It's New Orleans. You're legally allowed to drink on the streets as long as your drink is in a plastic container. Tours generally start at a bar and stop at one halfway through, often with drink specials. Just note: guests who become disruptive may be asked to leave with no refund. Please drink in moderation.
Bring a poncho or umbrella! Tours run rain or shine — some say the ghosts are more active when it rains. We only cancel during dangerous weather (lightning, hurricanes), and you'll receive a full refund or reschedule option.
Absolutely! Tipping 15-20% of your tour cost is standard and greatly appreciated — similar to what you'd tip at a restaurant. Our guides are passionate locals who rely on tips as a significant part of their income. A great guide can make your experience unforgettable. If they do, let them know!
